Chris Wood
Agency OwnerChris grew up in Peyton, met his wife Shannon in the fourth grade at Peyton School, and built the agency in the community they both come from. He started Pikes Peak Insurance Agency in 2005 with a single client. When he is not in the office he is almost certainly on a basketball court — he is the Varsity Head Coach for the Falcon girls team and has coached club and school ball around Falcon for years.
Kim Adams-Johnson
Personal Lines Team LeadKim has been a licensed Personal Lines agent since 1998 and has worked nearly every seat in the industry — producer, trainer, auditor, and underwriter. She holds an Associate in Claims designation, which means she has formal training in how claims actually get handled. She and her husband Joe foster dogs waiting for adoption, on top of the three dogs and five cats already at home.
Gretchen Pufpaff
Life Insurance Account ManagerGretchen has been licensed in Life and Health since 2013 and joined the agency in July 2020 after years as an independent consultant. She has lived in Colorado since 1982, grew up in Black Forest, and graduated from UCCS. Between camping, running, and cooking, her seven kids keep her thoroughly on her toes.
Melinda Murray
Personal Lines Account ManagerMelinda spent twenty years in the veterinary field before earning her Life and Health license in 2016, and found she genuinely loved the work. She grew up in Colorado Springs and has lived in the Falcon and Peyton community since 1998. Most of her free time is spent in a gym or on a field watching one of her five kids play.
Kilee Wood
Personal Lines Account ManagerKilee is usually the first face you see walking into the office and the voice you hear when you call. She is from Falcon, played basketball at Northeastern Junior College while earning her associates in business, and now coaches the Falcon Bombers girls club team she once played for. She grew up watching this agency get built.
Jaxon Wood
Personal Lines Insurance SpecialistJaxon is the newest addition to the agency. Music is his passion and songwriting is where he finds his voice — he recently started performing live. Away from that it is golf, football, and family. Go Broncos.
