I’m not usually one to actually do this but I want to give a HUGE shout out to Pikes Peak Insurance and especially Gretchen who always goes above and beyond. And to all the staff for all of their help for not only myself but also my father who is old and recently moved here. On a personal note when I was sick they sent me a box of soup, biscuits and cookies to wish me well, along with a signed card from all of the amazing people in the office. It touched my heart.

Super impressed I was paying 589 at progressive for full coverage in my brand new sports car and I went to Donald because he came highly recommended and he got me full coverage with more options on my insurance for 349.00 I’m literally saving 249 a month. Chris over at Pikes Peak Insurance has been there for me at every turn. His entire agency has been highly responsive, professional, accessible and attentive. But most importantly, they have treated me like a dear friend. I feel safe knowing they provide my commercial insurance.

I got a quote for home and auto insurance and was very pleased with the rates so currently insured by this agency. The issue was I called multiple times to try to get a different policy quote but never heard back. I called an sent emails to Donald W but never heard back until this review. Edit: The owner reached out to me to understand, explain and make things better. Chris was sympathetic to what happened, took ownership of the mistake and attempted to remedy the situation. Everything ended in good terms. The agency is still has some of the best rates in town but due to the previous mentioned issue not giving a full 5 star rating.

Very thorough and able to handle complicated requests for those of us with multiple policies for home, auto, rental, business, etc.. Recently switched from Southern Colorado Insurance Center (SCIC) and Pikes Peak Insurance Agency is orders of magnitude better in all respects. They even found a discount not applied by my previous agent that saved >$200 annually.

I have used these guys several years ago then again for the past couple years and have always been satisfied with them. They represent several insurance provider, so they can offer a good competitive rate.

Found Pikes Peak Insurance while seeking a local independent agent. After 36 years of being in the hands of another insurance company, I was tired of feeling like a number or a trophy in the agent's client book. PPIA cut my total insurance bundle by ~35% for equal or better coverage. All, repeat, all of the folks in the office are personable, professional and caring, but my primary contact has been Gretchen. I don't know what she's getting paid, but they need to double her salary! She's intelligent, professional, and funnier than my Aunt Judy trying to learn to water ski on her 82nd birthday. I end up smiling for the rest of the day after one of our conversations. However, don't let her demeanor fool you. She has a core of steel, and I danged well wouldn't want to upset her. My previous company was being difficult when I notified them that I was canceling and was making me jump through all kinds of hoops demanding the cover page from my entire new portfolio in order to, as they put it, "...ensure that your coverage needs are still being met." After fighting them for almost two weeks, I turned it over to the pit bull side of Gretchen, and she had the policies cancelled in less than 24 hours through two emails.
